Randon (BM&F Bovespa: RAPT3, RAPT4) is a Brazilian conglomerate focused on freight and cargo transport, and is a leader in Brazil in all markets in which it operates. The Company operates directly through its subsidiaries in three segments: commercial trailers, railcars and special vehicles; auto parts and automotive systems; and services and other.
The Randon group is formed by nine subsidiaries that operates in the commercial trailers, railcar and special vehicles segments, as well as the auto parts and automotive systems and the services segments.
The company was founded by brothers Raul Anselmo Randon, currently chairman's company and Hercílio Randon (died in 1989), and today the Randon family is the main shareholder of the company. Its one of the most internacionalized companies of Brazil, present in 12 countries through industrials plants, international offices, distribution centers and assembly plants and CKD.
